HERALDING HOPE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Deon and I have been busy settling back into life and ministry here in South Africa. One of the blessings of ministering here is serving in a team ministry. “The Herald of Hope”  is a ministry taken to the local churches to focus people’s attention on the End Times taught from the Old and New Testaments in the Bible. The various pastors take turns preaching and teaching on pre-millennialism and on the dispensational interpretation of Scriptures. The gospel is always given at the meetings since many unsaved people attend out of interest. This ministry began in Australia and was brought to South Africa in 2008.

What makes this ministry unique is that the pastors that take Harold of Hope to the churches throughout the country teach the material together with the pastor of the host church, where the Bible Conference is being held. In October the Herald of Hope Ministry taught through parts of Zechariah. Men and woman from all over the Cape Peninsula and the Boland in the Western Province of South Africa attended the Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions.

Rev. Chris Wilhelm Teaching

The pastors presented the story of how Israel comes back to God, explaining how God has and would bless them. How the Lord works providentially to establishing His kingdom on earth was so exciting to hear. Learning the history of how God uses unbelieving nations to carry out His plan for Israel and the whole world was so very encouraging. The Zechariah Conference was a blessing to all who attended. They left enriched by what they heard and encouraged by the fellowship of their fellow believers in Christ. The church plants are growing spiritually, as well as numerically.

Intermission - Tea Time

We would like to thank all of our prayer partners for praying for the ministries we are involved in and for the prayer request we had regarding housing. We have found an apartment that suits our ministry and family’s needs. THANK YOU!
