TWO Lands - TWO Missionaries - One COUPLE & One MINISTRY

Missionaries are facing the same financial stresses and difficulties that are now being faced by ALL families, churches and business - worldwide. The economic picture for all of us, no matter who, is challenging. All of us, who are believers, trust the Lord in these times. Philippians 4:10-19 explains the trust that all of us want to have in any time period - including these difficult days.

We believe the Lord has led Michelle and I to approach our deputation as a missionary couple in a somewhat of a unique way. As you know, Michelle was born in Zimbabwe to American missionary parents and is an American Citizen and I (Deon) was born in South Africa and am a citizen of South Africa. We were married in South Africa, trained for Christian Ministry in South Africa and already serving in South Africa, we have a unique situation. We have been blessed with good counselors in our home church: Pastor Vradenburgh and Friendship's Prayer Support Team as well as our mission agency: Biblical Ministries Worldwide.

The plan that we are following is REALLY UNIQUE but in the Lord's hands, has been truly blessed along the way. We were sent by our Home Church: Friendship Baptist Church of Raleigh on 16 September 2012. We were approved by the BMW / Biblical Ministries Worldwide for a missionary Church Planting ministry on the 20 July 2012. We now minister through the "Cape Multi-Lingual Church Planting Team" in the planting of the Swartland Baptist Church in the town of Malmesbury, Western Cape, South Africa.

The Swartland Baptist Church has agreed to be a "clearing house" for our South African Gifts and BMW has agreed to receive our USA gifts. We are continuing to present our financial needs in both South Africa and the United States, while remaining ACTIVE in South African Church Planting. When we are "on the road" in South Africa or in the USA the "Cape Multi-Lingual Church Planting Team" fills-in & takes-up our responsibilities in Church Planting.
